The brilliant optics are protected by an almunimium housing, making the MD 7x42 C especially robust and is waterproof down to a depth of 3.3 feet. The extremely compact measurements of 2.6 x 2.4 x 5.6 in. and light weight of just 13 oz. enable a very comfortable one-handed use.
Besides its high optical performance, the MINOX monocular features an integrated compass as well as a fine reticle. These can be used to determine the range or size of objects in view.
