The AIS Em-Trak B400 (5W-SOTDMA) is a rugged, resistant, internationally certified transceiver with a powerful 5W transmitter instead of the standard 2W transmitter that combines the prioritized radio transmission protocol SOTDMA with HF-AIS technology thus translating into improved operational performance being ideal for high seas pilots and professionals who demand superior performance, functionality and reliability.

The B400 has waterproof and weather proof certificate(IPx6 & IPx7) anti-shock and vibration system that allows it to be installed and operates continuously and reliably, even in the most hostile and extreme conditions.
The integrated high-resolution color display supports graphics CMAP ENC (SD-CARD) with destination overlay and a wide range of simple to use yet powerful features such as Dual-Text and Graphic Interface, Multi-Language Options Menu, Day and night display mode, continuous internal fault verification and diagnostic system, multiple AIS destination management, proximity alerts, MOB / SART alert and tracking, race mode, real-time AIS A sensor information , filters, alerts, off mode transmission and much more, making this an essential device for any serious pilot.

The AIS Em-Trak B400 CLASS B also has a "man overboard" tracker, where upon receipt of a MOB / SART alert, it allows the user to easily locate and track the signal by providing continuous bearing and distance information in real time .
The B400 is exceptionally energy-efficient and is easily installed and configured using the simple on-screen menu. The connectivity includes dual NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 to allow a quick and easy connection with other bridge systems (Gyro, ECDIS, VHF DSC etc) and of course, integrated long distance Wi-Fi without external antennas.
The B400-BLACK for Navy and Coast Guard provides additional custom features such as sophisticated encryption, enhanced satellite detection, among other features.
